The Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to Storytime With Tonya and Friends.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
HAPPY FRIDAY!
The book closest to me is Dragon Harper by Anne and Todd McCaffrey
All of his half-formed dreams of kissing Kelsa, of dancing through the night with her, maybe even of partnering with her, vanished as he absorbed that.
I missed posting a 56 last week – RL got in the way.
What good books have you read lately?

Change of subject: it’s taken me a long time – over three years – but this is post # 99! I do plan a giveaway for my 100th post – so watch this space.

I received the two charts I ordered from Tanya – they are so wonderful! It’s going to be hard resisting starting them right away (I have no willpower – lol!).
Thanks for stopping by today.

Thanks for stopping by my blog Nit!
I'm an old Pern fan. Got all the Pern books by Anne. But Todd does not seem to have Anne's talent though. I read Todd's first foray into the Pern world and was disappointed. But I was still optimistic. I thought that was a one off thing and might improve. Read Todd's second book and it was worse. I stopped buying Pern books by Todd. Was this any good?
I absolutely love Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders but I'm always skeptical of team writers. They never seem to live up.
Oh I love Anne's Books! I was absorbed with them as a young adult - and just recently heard that my coworker's husband was reading them right now!
My Friday 56 is up too from a book I just finished and really enjoyed!: http://sweetvernalzephyr.blogspot.com/2009/10/friday-56_29.html
BTW I can see how those would be hard to resist... but does your love of reading interfere with your time to craft? I am constantly having to choose!
I love Anne McCaffrey's works. Spent a few months going through them lol.
Great 56.
Here’s my 56 offering.
I love your taste - we have the same blog background.
Great quote, by the way!

Whether you're creating SAL "Welcome"? Please send photos when embroidery ready for my @. I collect all the photos for the album. Thanks
Oh this looks like a great book! Mine are here!
This is a new author to me!
Got to comment on your craft room clean up - I know just what you mean, mine ends up just the same then have to spend time sorting it all out. Love the basket for your WIPs.
