On page 57, the fifth sentence is:

You know what? That’s where I’m going to leave it!
BTW, I am so glad I re-read the entire series before starting An Echo in the Bone. The publication of this series covers 18 years, and each book is rich and luscious – so altho any one of them could be read as a stand-alone – I am now replete with the 18th century!
